Our Standard Service

With our standard service we’ll visit your home at a time that suits you and provide a fixed package that includes :

Install or upgrade one single piece of software or hardware on one computer
Fully test the operation of the new installation or upgrade

Exclusions

The following exclusions apply to the Standard Service :

Upgrading a complete computer
Supplying any hardware or software required for the installation or upgrade
Any additional supplies required, such as USB cables for printers, ink, video cables, etc.
Networking any shared devices, such as printers
Resolving existing hardware and software issues
Business or Commercial installations
Ongoing support

Installation of a NEW purchase

It’s always exciting when you get new equipment but we’re often let down by the manufacturer through a lack of adequate installation instructions. This is where our Hardware Installation Service can help. We’ll visit your home and install any type of computer hardware or software you require. This Includes :

Desktop or Laptop Computers – we can set up your new computer so you have the right configuration from the start and we can even migrate your data from an older computer
Printers – inkjet or laser printers as well as all-in-one printers (scanner/printer). We can even network your printer for everyone to share
External Hard Drives – extra storage capacity for your music, videos and photos. You may also want to look at a Network Storage Server
Web Cameras – to talk to those overseas relatives, network with friends, work-from-home meetings or just for a bit of fun
Wireless Network Equipment – for linking everyone in the house to shared media and the Internet. We offer a home networking service that covers broadband setup and secure wireless networking

System Upgrades

Of course! We’ll talk you through the various options and make suggestions for purchases that will meet your needs. We can also source the equipment, saving you the time.

Do you price match?

Price is often an important consideration and it’s ALWAYS our intention to obtain the lowest price possible, while offering the best service. Experience tells us that suppliers offering lower costs can often be at the expense of late deliveries and poor after sales service and we always want you to have a product that will last and do the job properly. We also understand sometimes you’ll want the product in a hurry, which we’re happy to do. Sometimes it’s worth paying a little bit extra for a reliable service and we’ll always give you options that best suit your needs.

If we provide you with a quote and you subsequently find it cheaper elsewhere, then we’ll still be happy to install it for you.

What’s not included in the Service?

This service is here to help you install new equipment, however, in some instances the shop or website you purchased your equipment from may not have provided all the necessary extras required. For instance, when buying a printer, it’s very rare that the manufacturer includes a cable to connect it to your computer. We always carry spare cables to cover this type of shortfall but do charge for it as it would be an extra to our normal pricing policy.
